  1. Gene is a genealogy database management program.

You can use Gene to store family data and notes, draw and print family trees, show how different people are related, or browse the database by clicking on names in cards and trees.  Gene has no difficulty handling complicated databases with thousands of names, multiple marriages and divorces, illegitimate children, or intermarriage between relatives.
